August 25 — Host The Wall That Heals in 2007

August 21 — Project RENEW™ Marks Fifth Anniversary
  
Vietnam officials offered congratulations to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund as its mine action and humanitarian program, Project RENEW™, marked its fifth anniversary this month.  Read the Press Release

August 3— Memorial Center Site Approved by NCPC
  The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Center took another step forward today when the National Capital Planning Commission (NCPC) approved the site proposed by the National Park Service and the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund.  Read the Press Release

August 2— MLB Returns to Vietnam
  Nearly seven months after its first trip to Vietnam with the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund, Major League Baseball (MLB) is returning from Aug. 6-19 to conduct a pair of baseball clinics in Hanoi and Dong Ha. Once again, the Memorial Fund will be a partner in the project, providing in-country support for both baseball clinics.  Read the Press Release; View Photos

June 28 — Time Warner Gives Lead Gift for Memorial Center
   Honorary Campaign Chairman Gen. Colin L. Powell, USA (Ret.) announced today that Time Warner Inc. has made a $10 million Lead Gift to the Campaign to Build the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Center, the educational facility that will be built underground near the Vietnam Veterans Memorial.  Read the Press Release; View Photos

June 20 — VVMF Hosts Third Teachers Network Conference in D.C.
   Over 30 elementary, middle, high school and university educators from across the country will meet at American University in Washington, D.C., on June 21-25 for the third national conference of the Teach Vietnam Teachers Network.  Read the Press Release; View Photos
