Welcome to H-NCH, a member of H-Net, Humanities and Social Sciences Online. H-NCH is the official electronic voice of the National Coalition for History, a Washington D.C. based non-profit educational organization. The history coalition seeks to provide leadership in history-related advocacy, serves as the profession's national voice in the promotion of history, and acts as a clearinghouse of news and information of interest to history-related professionals.

The NCH publishes its weekly electronic newsletter THE NCH WASHINGTON UPDATE on the World Wide Web which provides accurate and timely news and information on issues of concern to the historical and archival professions.
