Over the years, South Alabama has been blessed with strong, conservative leadership representing us in the United States House of Representatives.

This year, with Congressman Sonny Callahan's recent decision to retire, South Alabamians will have an opportunity to continue the experienced, trusted leadership they have come to know and expect by electing Jo Bonner to Congress.

On Tuesday, March 5, Jo Bonner, Callahan's longtime Chief of Staff, became the first person to throw his hat into the ring to replace the popular nine-term Congressman.

Bonner received the immediate and strong endorsements of both Congressman Callahan and his predecessor, former Congressman Jack Edwards.

Jo has resigned as Sonny's Chief of Staff to devote his full attention to running for Congress.
