Liberty Unites Us... After America was attacked, it was as if our entire country looked into a mirror and saw our better selves. We were reminded that we are citizens, with obligations to each other, to our country and to history. We began to think less of the goods we can accumulate, and more about the good we can do. -President George W. Bush, November 2001

You Made a Difference

Millions of Americans donated their time and money as a result of the events of September 11. Charitable organizations turned those dollars and volunteer hours into crucial relief and support services to help the families, emergency personnel, local businesses and many others affected. If you donated or volunteered, thank you. We invite you to take a look at some of the good work you were able to accomplish, working together.

More Ways To Help

In his August 31st radio address, President Bush called upon all Americans to take part in a "September of Service" by renewing, expanding or establishing their commitment to doing good. By volunteering, we show our support to those closest to us - our neighbors. Volunteering instills pride, encourages growth and strengthens our sense of community.

Everyone can do something to help their neighbors and thereby help their nation. Visit USA Freedom Corp to find a volunteer opportunity that's right for you.

Just for Kids

In the aftermath of September 11th, kids across the world spoke out, held fundraisers and volunteered their time to help others. Here are just a few examples of how these future leaders took action and played a role in rebuilding our country, as well as ideas for how young people can still get involved in their community.
