President Condemns Jerusalem Bombings President Bush Saturday said, "I was horrified and saddened to learn of the bombings that took place
tonight in Jerusalem. I strongly condemn them as acts of murder that
no person of conscience can tolerate and no cause can ever
justify."
Gov Ridge Holds Homeland Security Briefing
Governor Ridge told the press Monday, "Over the last several days our intelligence in law enforcement
agencies have seen an increased volume in level of activity involving
threats of terrorist attacks."
Radio Address by the President to the Nation
In the weekly radio address Saturday, President Bush said, "We need to act boldly to
protect America's economic security. There are two immediate
priorities for America's recovery. We must bring quick help to those
who need it most, and we must restore our economy's growth."
