Radio Address by the President To the Nation Good morning. Thanksgiving this year comes 72 days after a terrible national shock, an act of evil that caused, and continues to cause, so much suffering. Yet, the evil the terrorists intended has resulted in good they never expected. And this holiday season, Americans have much to be thankful for.

President Shares Thanksgiving Meal with Troops
"These have been hard months for Americans. Yet, this Thanksgiving we have so much to be thankful for. We're thankful for the love of our families. We're thankful for the goodness and generosity of our fellow citizens. We're thankful for the freedoms of our country. And we're so very thankful to you, the men and women who wear our uniform."
 President and Mrs. Bush are thanking Americans for
giving and encouraging people to continue to come together
through new public service announcements (PSAs) produced by
the Ad Council.
