Philippine President Reiterates Support
Philippine President Arroyo Tuesday said, "The occasion is the 50th anniversary of our mutual defense treaty between our two countries. And this treaty just demonstrates how we've been allies for so long.   Surrounded by cheering soldiers at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, President George W. Bush addressed the troops and shared a turkey dinner with them Nov. 21. "More than 3,000 soldiers from this post have been deployed to Kosovo for six-month rotations," said the President. "They kept supplies away from rebels in Macedonia, made the recent election in Kosovo possible. I'm glad to report that all of them from this base will be home by Thanksgiving.".
