President Salutes USO in White House Ceremony
President Bush Friday thanked USO personnel who will leave the U.S. on November 12 for a week-long tour that will take them to various overseas posts, some of which house troops fighting the war against terrorism.
President Calls for Legislative Action on Economy, Aviation Security
"We need to work together to prevent further loss of jobs by passing an economic stimulus package that in fact will cause the job base to firm up and expand," President Bush said Friday.
Nigerian President Offers Solidarity, Support to U.S.
In expressing continued support for the international coalition against terrorism, Nigerian President Obasanjo said, "We have no doubt in our mind that terrorism must be fought. And it must be fought to a standstill."
