President to Declare "Freedom at War with Fear"
President Bush will address a joint session of Congress and the American people tonight, saying: "We are a country awakened to danger and called to defend freedom."  


President Welcomes Japan's Support
Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi announced a seven-point package of actions to support the U.S. and international response to last weeks terrorist attacks in New York and Washington.  

Emergency Declared for New Jersey
The President yesterday issued an emergency declaration for the State of New Jersey and ordered Federal aid to supplement state and local response efforts in connection with the fires and explosions in the State of New York on September 11, 2001.
